Typography Workshop

Workshops include looking at the positive and negative connotations, image association, these then lead into font association with these chosen images, this helps inform design decisions.

Use TrueFont
hinted- can control picture placement

aehinoptv - these letters contain all the necessary shapes to test out a font

• they will then test out the extreme weights, light and bold
• Weight test is a graduation of weight from light to bold
• then they will look to soften up/ adjust the fonts however necessary 
• then onto kerning and spacing 

For this task we had to fill in the gaps. This didn't come naturally to me in terms of accuracy as I barely use rulers and felt frustrated and constricted looking around to see everyone measuring and keeping things precise as I initially just drew mine free hand as I prefer a more expressive style, hate using grids.
